The Emitter device was designed for people who live in areas that are high in risk of experiencing natural disasters and/or high-level terrorism. The device uses an alternative technology to reduce the duration of time it takes to search for people during a disaster, who may be trapped under rubble and so forth. The concept was developed by implementing sound technology based on ultrasonic sound and piezoelectric emitters. As well, a dog whistle had been analyzed to define the range of kHz audible for the rescue dogs to hear and respond to.
